Losing It (The Beginning)
I am joining Mary at Giving Up On Perfect with the "Losing It" weight loss challenge.
My plan is basically to eat less and move more.
1) Get on the treadmill 5 days a week.
2) Drink 48 oz. of water per day.
3) Take-in less calories (and healthier ones at that).
4) Lose 20 pounds at the end of 10 weeks.
This is something that I need some positive peer pressure or should I say an accountability group to keep me going. So there will be a weekly update on how I am doing. And although there are prizes involved....I would be just as pleased with being 20 pounds lighter!

The prizes are good but it's true that being a bit lighter is the best prize of all. We can cheer each other on!
ReplyDeleteI like your plan. :) My husband asked how my brother lost so much weight, and he thought I was being sarcastic when I said "eating less and moving more"! But really, that's the only way to do it, I think!
ReplyDeleteEating less and moving more...it's such a novel concept! Glad that you're joining in!

Good luck on your weight loss journey! I definitely agree that losing weight is the best prize of ALL! Everything else is icing on the cake(hehe)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your challenge! Thanks for the comment.. I appreciated it! How is your challenge going.. Have you got on the treadmill yet? :) - Thats always the hardest for me.. Hope your week is going well. - Leslie
ReplyDeleteGreat job making a plan and being accountable. I have recently dropped over 55 pounds. I would council you that on your plan you need more water, unless you only weigh 96 pounds. You can try drinking 1 oz of water for every pound you weigh and see how that works. It worked great for me. May God bless your efforts.
